STILL HAVE SNOW ON THE BANADAD, Poplar Creek and Canoe Outfitting

STILL HAVE SNOW ON THE BANADAD

Over the last three weeks we have lost over a foot of our snow. No surprise, during much of this period, the temperature has been well above freezing. While we have had rain; there has not been much snow- only about two inches.  But our ski trail continue to holdout! There still is 13 inches of snow remaining and there is a fair ski track.

Yesterday one party skied the entire 31 kilometers of the Banadad. While we did not talk to that party we were able to catch up with two other parties that ski the trail a few days earlier. They all stated the trail was in fairly decent shape except in several places where the moose trampled on it. Not much we can do about where the moose decide to walk. They also said there was a lot of wolf tracks on the trails east end.

Looks like it going to continue warmer for part of this week and maybe, hopefully, snow later in the week.
